Exciting preparations are underway at school as we gear up for the upcoming academic year. We are thrilled to welcome new students and reconnect with our returning students.
Our first major event this year is the Middle School Kick-off on Thursday, August 28th, and Friday, August 29th! The MS Kick-off is two days filled with community-building activities, service projects and small group devotions. This year the students will spend a day serving with America’s✟ Grow a Row harvesting vegetables that go to local food banks in New Jersey. Students will also spend a day at Camp Curiosity. The cost is $65 per student (receive a $20 discount if you register before August 15th). Below you will find a preview of the event:
Thursday the 28th- Camp Curiosity (team-building)
Dress for the weather. Students will be participating in various outdoor activities, including swimming. Swimsuits must be modest and follow the school handbook guidelines.
Bring a filled, reusable water bottle
Wear tennis shoes
Wear sunscreen
LUNCH- A pizza and water bottle lunch will be provided
Friday the 29th- America's Grow a Row (serving)
Dress for the weather and to get dirty (hat, sunglasses, rain jacket, etc.)
Bring a filled, reusable water bottle and snack (for the bus, if you want)
Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes
Bring sunscreen or bug spray, if needed
Work gloves are optional, as we will provide disposable ones
Students will return to school each day in time to take their regular transportation home.
