Join us for a series of news tidbits all about Plumstead Christian School (PCS)! We'll be sharing on a variety of topics that will clarify some questions and provide both new and returning students and parents info about PCS!  First up, some basic acronyms... when you see "LS" used on our Events Calendar or in school communications, it is pretty straightforward. This is referring to our Lower School, which is Preschool - 5th grade. At times, we have Preschool only events, or K-5th only events, and these are specified accordingly. Over at the Middle & Upper School, be sure not to get confused about the difference between Middle School (MS), which is 6th-8th grade, and Upper School (US), which is high school or 9th-12th grade.  If on the Events Calendar you see a half day for "US" (which does happen during midterms/finals) this would indicate that ONLY 9th-12th grade is having a half day.  On a similar note, our two school buildings are the "Lower School" and the "Middle & Upper School."  We'll be working at consistently using these terms as opposed to, for example, "Lower Campus/Upper Campus" to help differentiate between Lower School, Middle School and Upper School.  We hope you find this tidbit of info helpful!  More to come!
